I have an Orange Matamp missing the back plate. The power chassis is marked OR148 with 2-KT88's and 2-ECC82's. The front Chassisis markedOR138 with 2-ECC83's. It came with a 2/12 cabinet. The face looks like the Jimmy Page model without the inscription. Any Ideas as to who owned it ? found in the USA. Thanks, Charlie

Cool. I have no idea, but if you could post some pictures, that would be helpful maybe...

If you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for it?

You can email Matamp directly or phone them www.matamp.co.uk and they can tell you exactly the day the amp left the factory and sometimes who bought it.

You might find more info on the Matamp forum too as there are a few of us who own a couple of these Old Orange/Matamp amps.

Does your amp have a rectifier tube as well?? There is another guy on the Matamp forum who has a two KT-88 Orange/Matamp amp.

Post some pics if you have the chance.
