Desert Island Discs...

Two things really (in no way related to orange) but out of my own personal interest!
The first being a scenario:
You come back of a night on the juice, It’s a Friday! You walk in to your house and something’s up! You look around and finally you notice that all your record collection has been stolen! And that’s it!!! You first thought (well it should be) is… Thank god the orange hasn’t gone , The second more than likely is a great desire to harm the person whom did this! You phone the police, they come over and say they’ll “investigate itâ€

Should rename the thread "Desert Island Discs"...
Can't remember the last 5 CDs I bought, although I know the very last one was The Last Broadcast by the Doves... it was going cheap somewhere. Two of the others were The Sophtware Slump by Grandaddy, and Breathe by Leaves. Beyond that, I genuinely have no idea.
Don't tell me the best way, just tell me the cheapest way...

I suppose just to get this thread going i'll do mine:
To start of a collection:
1. Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland (you can't get anything better than 1983 for me)
2. Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy (I remember whist doing my computing Coursework for college, I played No Quarter on repeat for about 7 -8 hours straight, How I love that song, the whole albums great too – But if I could I would put the whole zeppelin collection in here)
3. At the drive in – Relationship of command (Just a great album, Every songs a winner)
4. Radiohead ( I can’t just name one, they are all just too good)
5. Tool – Lateralus ( I find something new on each listen of each song. Just superb)
6. The Who – Who’s Next (Sorry I know I’ve broke my own rules, but I have to put that in there)
But that list will probably change again tomorrow
Last 5 albums purchased:
1.Soulwax – Any Minute Now
2.Caption Beefheart & his magic Band – Safe as milk
3.Free – Fire and water
4.DJ Shadow – Entroducing
5.Rolling stones – Aftermath (US edition/version)

To restart a collection:
1. T.Rex - Electric Warrior
2. Led Zeppelin IV
3. Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
4. The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour
5. The White Stripes - Elephant
6. Tyrannosaurus Rex - A Beard of Stars
my latest purchases:
Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow
Deep Purple - Shades of Deep Purple
DisinHAIRitated
Woodstock
Donovan - Mellow Yellow
T.Rex - Electric Warrior (3rd copy in my collection - this is the U.S. reissue by rhino records - the ULTIMATE CD reissue imo!)
With my Les Paul I know I'm small but I enjoy livin' anyway
(Marc Bolan in "Spaceball Ricochet")

...once the crying had stopped you mean!
1 Physical Graffitti - Led Zeppelin
2 Led Zeppelin I - Led Zeppelin
3 The Datsuns - The Datsuns
4 Outta Sight/Outta Mind - The Datsuns
5 LA Woman - The Doors
I keep meaning to start a T.Rex collection, Electric Warrior. I had a best of album somewhere but I can't find it at the moment. So Electric Warrior is a good place to start?

Is that the new lostprophets album Billy? Im generally not into that kind of 'stylish' rock, (and i hate the way the band likes to act American even thought there bloomin welsh) but i think its a great record. The guys are great guitarists and theve got awsome tone, its the album that told me i want a Solando Avenger for high gain purposes, when the wallet allows it of course.

They did a free show recently, a couple of weeks ago, that I was going to go to but got stuck in ridiculous traffic and knew I was going to miss it.... It was one of those crazy days where my brother had given me tickets to see the Red Sox play in the afternoon in Boston and the free show was in Providence Rhode Island...
but I realised that I had heard them in the radio promos for the show and so bought the newest CD. I like maybe 70% of it... didn't know they were Welsh, though, guess they do try to hide it!
