Anyone know if the reverb tank on a RV50 mk1 could be upgraded to a longer tank? I noticed that it's a shorter tank (around 10" long), and it seems like there's enough clearance inside the amp to put in a longer reverb.
thanks!

I would think that if there is enough room, you could swap out the tank....

I called Orange USA and I was wrong: a channel is routed out for the reverb tank in the top of the case, so a longer one won't fit. Also, upgrading the tank would require changing the impedance of the send and return for the reverb.

Thankfully, the RV50 MKI is plentiful....
What made you consider going for a longer tank?
