The EL84's are going to take a bit to get here but that will be fine.
Once I get my amp settled, I am going to add a compressor and preamp to the pedalboard

That didnt work at all with AD15. That entirely due to thw way i use my AD15- I set the gain to the edge of break up, so that if I play softly it's clean, if i dig in I get a nice crunch. OD/fuzz for leads.
The compressor kept the signal strength even (Which is what they're designed to do) and my edge of break up was either all clean or all crunch......
I am afraid that will be the case for me as well... I tend to fingerpick most of the time but for some stuff I have coming up I need to be able to switch between fingerpicking and using a pick.
