Hello good people,
Recently I acquired an old battered Orange OR 80M amp chassis.
My plan is to restore this nice amp in its old shining glory!
However, the problem is, the two chrome plated fronthandles are missing,
as well as the two chrome "reinforcement bars" from front to chassis.
Anyone here any idea where I can buy these items?
TIA!!

Contact Orange. I inquired once and they said they sell them, this was years ago however.

Re: Chrome bars
The other alternative would be to contact Matamp.
Re: Chrome bars
Hammond produce a variety of handles
Do yours go around the back of the chassis too?

Re: Chrome bars
Yes, that's what he said.
Re: Chrome bars
Odd to have lost them all, must be a real 'project' amp?
Re: Chrome bars
It certainly is!
A former owner had the amp condemned to live in a DIY MesaBoogie combo -like housing
with a more than ugly face-plate. The knobs were chicken-heads, can you imagine?
Prior to my message here I mailed Orange HQ several times, but they chose to not respond.
Oh, well...I suppose I'll look into the Hammond bars.
Thank you all for your help so far!

Re: Chrome bars
There are these at Mouser. You’d have to know what size you need. Doesn’t help for the ones behind the faceplate but it's a start.
