So I deal with a lot of spammers on the forum, which most of you probably never get to see. Occasionally, one gets through and posts a bunch of stuff and I'll say it again, please don't respond to them because it makes my job harder.
I ban them, go into an administrative section and delete their posts, and then to make it easier to keep track, I change their username to Banned with the date as well as a, b, c, d, e, etc. to denote how many on a particular day. I don't think any of you can see the members list but here's today's list with newest members at the top. There are also some new members that I think might be spammers but their email address, IP address, and name are ok so far...
In case you were wondering: spammers

We can all see the members list. Seems like you're making a lot of extra work for yourself. Can't you just ban them, delete their posts, and be done with it?

Honestly Billy, I don’t know how much you deal with, but I know it’s a lot, and I appreciate it very much! Thank you!

I need to be able to track when and if I leave usernames intact, there is nothing on the member page to indicate ban status.
Re: In case you were wondering: spammers
Why do you need to keep track of that? Why can't you just delete their posts and ban them? Why do you even need to change any user names?
