I've seen that one a little while back.

Nobody's bitten yet.

looks like there is a cap with no wires going anywhere in the chassis. what's up with that?
extremely good gut shot view as well.

My guess is that its the cathode bypass cap that goes across the cathode bias resistor on the power section. Don’t see one otherwise. Must of broke off. Either he’s lying or his amp tech is that the amp is 100%.

The cap appears to just be lying there. I wish I could justify that amp. I would love to have it for many reasons.

also a cap or something outside the chassis just laying there. that and the cap inside just laying there makes me suspicious. but who knows. it appears to be a nice amp. very tidy. and like i said the gut shot is amazing. i'd like to have it too.

Interesting that "Roxanne" looks nothing like "Sally" or "Angie":

WOW!! I must agree with Sooner.....It looks like a different amp to the other two. I wonder if the photos could be brought to the attention of Mr Emsley for any comments or confirmation?

It's a different construction technique, but familiar components and wiring. I think I recall reading they were all meant to be a little different.

I meant "sound" a little different. Don't quote me on that though.

I remember they were all supposed to sound a little different. Just surprised at how different the chassis is for "Roxanne". Too bad the pics of "Angie" and "Sally" don't show the entire chassis but you can tell even the tube locations are different.

I asked the seller on ebay if its been changed or rewired in anyway. His answer revealed that the amp tech found that a cap was installed the wrong way around and was duly sorted and that the gut shots were done whilst on the amp techs bench.
