It's meant to be a 50's style amp. That is from Ade's mouth.
I understand that, I am sure the TremLord is a fine amp that sound great.
But, you know, there is a amp, clean sounding, no gain knob, 1 x 12", with Tremolo and Reverb, around 30 watt (22 actually), that sound superb, seen on countless stage, heard on so many recording and made in the USA. It's called "Deluxe reverb".

And who need a effect loop in a clean amp anyway?!

Oh, right! I did hear him say that and even read it on the website. It's the first line of the description.

It gives you the ability to put your pedals post tremolo.

Interesting amp!!!!

Sounds really lovely!!!!

I remember Ade talking about how a choke gives an amp added perceived headroom a while back, in his prototype series. I've been wondering if that's something I'll notice when i finally get to fit that choke to my R30...... may be in the next 2 or 3 years......

It might still be a AD type design, but with choke and with the valve rectifier, it would sound different already.

I hope I get to try it sometime soon!!!

The dual speed setting is a pretty neat idea. My analog tremolo can switch between 2 present speed, it's very useful.

Ooooooooooooh this is really cool. I have a Princeton already and this seems like it would check very similar boxes but man, the demos make it sound really nice.

I wonder what it would be like if they rereleased the AD30 with trem and verb... *cough cough*

Hope it sell well because it is a killer looking amp. Plus top controls are so sexy.

I’d take this over a farty Deluxe Reverb. Love AC30’s, but they’re built like crap these days.

Farty Deluxe Reverb... We didnt played the same amp.

The Tremlord is probably a nice amp, but for me, it would have been a better amp with a gain knob. Even modern ac30 have one, because they get too loud when cranked.
