What product did you clean it with?
www.mouser.com is also likely to have a direct replacement. You'll have to measure the lead spacing to find the right part. It's a dual ganged 500KA.

Have fun replacing one of those dual pots. If your TT is the same as my AD15, the solder is on the same side of the PC board as the pots (instead of on the back side). When I replaced my master pot it was a huge PITA to get the old one off and then I overheated and damaged the new one trying to solder it back on. I wound up mounting the second new pot to the chassis and hard wiring it to the PCB. Next time I'll replace it with a quality pot instead of the cheap mini jobs they come with.

It's probably a standard 16mm PC mount spacing. Shaft length is important too...fiveightandten wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 10:00 pmYou'll have to measure the lead spacing to find the right part. It's a dual ganged 500KA.

Before swapping the pot, I would urge you to swap the V1 12AX7/ECC83 for a know working clean valve.
Some dodgy valves can leak DC voltage, which can result in scratchiness when turning either the volume or gain pot. It's been associated with the volume pot in the past, but I would think swapping V1 for a known working other valve is much easier than swapping the relevant pot. It may still be the pot, but I would try to eliminate that possibility 1st.

Really need solder wick or solder sucker. Add some flux to help it flow. Also can use a heat gun carefully when theres little solder left on all the pins and it’s still stuck a little.Sooner wrote: ↑Tue Oct 16, 2018 1:19 amHave fun replacing one of those dual pots.
