Pedal power adapter

Post by Eenybear » Mon Oct 08, 2018 2:27 pm

Hi

I have a Two Stroke Boost EQ. (Yay!)

Orange recommends the following specs for a power adapter:
- Regulated
- 12v
- 2.1mm
- Negative center plug

Has anybody managed to source one of these? Where? Anybody have one they want to sell?

Thanks. It would be so much easier if Orange sold compatible adapters. If they do, please point me there.

Yes I know about stuff like VooDoo Labs regulated/isolated power.... and I know I can use a Boss PSA 9v adapter.... and I know it’s a 9v pedal, but I want the extra headroom. And I know there are several listed on eBay but they are either unregulated or center positive.

Thanks in advance.

Amazon? I wouldn’t get too worried about it. My voodoo lab has a 12v option, mainly for those old Boss pedals. 3v isn’t a great difference in headroom. Not like 18v.

Thanks, I appreciate your insight. I finally found an eBay supplier. Regulated 12v, centre negative, etc. Inexpensive and just what Dr. Orange ordered. I know... move away from the trusty but dated multi-effects pedal and build a board with iso-power etc. One step at a time. :)
