You can view the gear I used to record this in the description, sadly its at bedroom volume because I have females in the house (sigh) , just me and my cat are the male contingent. I always thought the Rocker sounded great, but I just wanted something to add a little bit of presence to its top end. I got a sweet deal on a MXR 6 band eq pedal and it has transformed the amp. I set it to a frown setting where it shaves off a bit of low end and adds sweetness and presence to the midrange.....and I just love it run thru the fx loop with my talisman plate reverb pedal.
The song I was playing was flight of icarus by iron maiden and its just so thick and driven sounding whilst retaing the kind of clarity and note seperation you dont get without that eq pedal. If you got a Rocker Terror 15 head or any orange, check out the mxr 6 band eq, it just takes it to another level.
This is THE pedal to use with the Rocker Terror 15w head....see my clip inside

OK enough fair, I'm not a fan of Eq pedals but now I've had one of these for a few weeks ...the tone difference between low volume / bedroom setting does vary greatly with the 15 watt setting at high volume ...turned up on the 15 watt setting there is much more presence / treble and much greater dynamics. Played with a Les Paul / Schecter Pt easily cuts through a band mix when turned up. Its a really good amp! the bedroom setting is ok but (to be expected does ny have the same presence / dynamics...but as in my TT HW the higher power setting is where the tone is really at.

For that great classic/hard rock circa 70s & 80s I use the following preamp pedals on my Rocker 15 T and with all my other Terrors:
On my main pedalboard-
MXR Dyna Comp Mini
MXR il Diavolo OD
MXR EVH5150 OD
MXR Micro Amp
MXR 6-Band EQ
On my lite duty board-
DOD Compressor 280
Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9
BOSS GE7 EQ
Way Huge Saucy Box
Both EQ pedals are set in the "V" which pulls some of the mids out, this gives me a nice warm acoustic tone when I go clean.
