Right now it has 4 matching 1969 pre rola greenbacks up top and 2 V30s in the bottom. I wired 4 16ohm green backs to be 16ohms. Then I wired 2 - 8 ohm V30s to be 16ohms then I wired them together to be 8 ohms at the input jack...I'm currently trying to find 2 - 8 ohm vintage green backs but it's super hard to find them in decent shape. Most are 16ohm. I can't wait to find some though so that it has 6 vintage green backs.

And yea, haha it's very heavy, Definitely takes two people to lift it.

With the current wiring, half of the amp's power goes to the pair of V30s and the other half goes to the quad of greenbacks.

With the V30's higher efficiency and them getting half the amp's power, they're probably dominating the sound. (Although that imbalance is offset somewhat by them being in the bottom at shin level with the greenies up closer to your ears.)

You might consider rewiring it so the V30s are part of the quad, so you'd have a pair of greenies getting half the power with the other half going to the mixed quad.
-----------------------
Since 16 ohm greenies are a lot easier to find, I'd lean toward getting a pair of those, plus a Weber Z-Matcher. Wire the cab so all 6 split the power equally and let the Z-Matcher match the cab's impedance to the amp's output.

Six 16 ohm speakers all in parallel is 2.66 ohms. The Z-Matcher has a setting for that and will let the amp see your choice of 8 or 16 ohms.

A Z-Matcher is an extra expense. But a healthy pair of vintage 8 ohm greenies are likely to be more expensive than a pair of 16's, as well as being much harder to find.

Hey thanks alot!!!

That's some great info right there. I will definitely be doing this. I had no idea a ohm matcher existed like that. I had asked a few years back and never got any better info than to wire it the way I just did. Thanks again!!!!
