NAMM 2018

Post by bclaire » Thu Jan 25, 2018 11:30 pm

I'm flying out tomorrow morning and I'll be posting some stuff along the way. For starters, here is the Orange Museum - two of those amps are mine I believe: the Jimmy Bean for sure and I think that's my OMEC 150EQ to the right of it!

Awesome wall. Are they releasing anything besides the two 15 watt bedroom amps?

It's crazy how much Orange's profile has gone up over the last ~10 years. Love the faux-storefront.

Ok, so 3 bedroom amps lol. Are they releasing any legitimate amps? Please tell me this isn't all they are doing for their 50th anniversary...

Wish I had an Orange dune buggy to complete the look!

The Rocker 15 Terror Head is exactly what I've been looking for, very excited!

I know some are disappointed that there isn't any massive release to celebrate the anniversary, but its not like its new years eve; there are still 11 more months left in the year for them to do something special. In fact I believe the shop first opened in September of 68 so maybe they are waiting until the later half of the year, who knows.

i was hoping that orange would release a rocker 15 head. I ended up grabbing a rocker 15 combo for 800can on Boxing day rather than wait,

Billy, if you find one, you could join the MBBA (Massachusetts Beach Buggy Assn.). They appear to be still going strong!

Can anyone identify the people in front of that store front?
