No NAMM rumors at all..?
Can't we get some stealthy pics from Ade's shop, that we can zoom in on and painstakingly over-analyze, and successfully guess at what's coming -- like we did with the RV Mk-III??

I just want an OR30 for $999. The TH30 is too limiting with just a shape knob and the AD30 is too expensive at $1700. Could also use another 50 watt amp aside from a $2k RV. An OR50 around the $1500 mark would make sense IMO.

Here's a NAMM rumor: I'm going to NAMM!!! Orange is borrowing two of my amps for a mini-museum since it's their 50th anniversary!
I'll be taking pix, hanging out at the Orange booth area, and hanging with Johnny A. as well since he'll be out for some Johnny A. Signature Epiphone guitar stuff as well as doing some gigs on the west coast.

Buy a used AD30 for half that price.Dexter211275 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2018 1:38 amI just want an OR30 for $999. The TH30 is too limiting with just a shape knob and the AD30 is too expensive at $1700. We're not supposed to discuss pricing on the forums. But shoot me a PM if you'd like. Also, I have 3 AD30s right now, and I don't need all of them.Dexter211275 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2018 6:25 pmWhere are you finding AD30s for $850? Cheapest used one Ive seen is $1100. Please let me know!

Re: No NAMM rumors at all..?
Only NAMM news I've seen is that Gibson won't be there! That is all!
If this is the 50th anniversary, I would assume they might reissue something from the beginning days or Orange. I've found myself at an odd place with 0 gas for Orange gear. I'm so happy with my R30's and TT. Unless they are launching something simple and clean, then you can have my CC number now!!!

It sounds like that will be quite an experience- something most of us don't get in their life time!!! Hope you enjoy it greatly!
Don't forget to thank Ade from us for all his great designs.
Starting with the AD series of course.
That man designed such a great amp with his 1st try!!!!!
If you get the opportunity, try and take some time to check out the Vigier Booth. Their guitars are pretty fantastic. Funnily, I believe they only have Orange amps too.
They are the Orange distributor in France, and Patrice Vigier, the main man, tries out most (if not all) guitars leaving the workshop on his TV50.

Not to be a buzzkill but if you aren't a dealer or you aren't with the media the NAMM show isn't very welcoming to "regular folks" who happen to get in.Les Paul Lover wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2018 9:25 pmIt sounds like that will be quite an experience- something most of us don't get in their life time!!! The reps are there with planned demonstrations to entice dealers and trying to chat them up by talking shop is generally frowned on, you arn't allowed to play with anything and usually can't touch anything either, if you want to see something one of the reps has to show it to you. Basically you're allowed to stand there quietly with your hands in your pockets and watch.
That said, being able to hang out with the Orange guys is probably a good time.
Re: No NAMM rumors at all..?
my friends always help to set up the nashville NAMM shows. i've never been, though i've had many an opportunity to go. this year i may actually go.
and apparently gibson won't be attending this year. i wonder if it has anything to do with all the crap they are dealing with.

Re: No NAMM rumors at all..?
Just a rumor, but I heard about a new amp. The AD15TCBCMKI signature.
Re: No NAMM rumors at all..?
From the text box of the 50th anniversary video on youtube: "In 2018 we celebrate 50 years of being a company and we have so much we can't wait to show you in the coming months."
That's a pretty vague tease...At least show a close up of some EL-34s like Marshall did...
