Wanna hear some Orange?

Post by bclaire » Thu Dec 21, 2017 2:44 am

My band does a song where we insert a little medley of stuff in our cover of Whole Lotta Rosie - used to be some Led Zep Bring It On Home, and Heartbreaker, but my drummer and I put together a little bit for the other guys to try. This is AD30TC for guitars and AD200B for bass.

Up early this a.m. and discovered this! Sounds like pure Rock' to my old ears, and done in the spirit
of Zep. Is that your Tele' going into that Orange? I'm thinking no pedals involved? Makes me wish I lived a bit nearer to go hear The Allens.......

If I recall, it's pretty much pure amp with my TC G-System in no fx mode. Yeah, Tele into AD30TC.

Bass was my Jazzmaster Bass creation into my AD200B along with a Sansamp Bass DI.

Classic rocking tones. Tele + AD30 is a nice pairing.

I'm always surprised by how big and fat a tele or a strat can sound through an Orange amp.
They can sound th8n so easily with other amps.

Great recording billy. :)
