I'm about to get a Rockerverb...

Post by mici88 » Wed Dec 27, 2017 8:18 am

This Saturday. MK1 version.

I did some research here on the board, read few threads and I'd like to get an update from you guys about MK1 FX Loop issues. What I already know it's somewhat "high-impedance" and might cause tone loss when engaged. Also, I've found that all problems can be solved by using a buffer pedal in it.
The only effects I'll probably use in the loop will be Boss DD-2 (with buffer, as all Boss pedals) and a boost (MXR Micro AMP or GE-7) - will I be fine with that combination or do I have to get a special buffer pedal? Rest of my effects are placed in front of amp.

I'd be grateful for any answer.

I think you'll be fine.

For what it's worth, I run a EA design tremolo (no buffer), a Vox Time Machine delay (buffer), a DIY reverb (no buffer), and a Digitech Supernatural Reverb (buffer) and have no issues with any tone loss.

Thanks for answer. Rockerverb in the house, running with 1984 Boss DD-2 in the loop an NO tone loss. Completely. Even more, the loop seems to be very transparent.
