You aren't missing much. The reverb on the AD30R is pretty crap to be honest. You max it out and start crying as you realise there isn't any more reverb on tap, and what's on offer is just way insufficient..... and the rest of the amp is just like channel A of the AD30TC you have.

I wonder if you can swap it out for the tank in the TV... that thing is awesome....

Ive considered buying one and investigated the issue. Theres a number of posts and thread floating around the tinternet trying to solve the AD30R very underwhelming reverb issue.

I haven't read one that succeeded. Some reported minor improvements, but where still left disappointed. I don't think the issue is the reverb tank used, but more the circuit design.

If I'd bought one, Id be more into trying to use the in and out of that reverb to retro fit an FX loop......

He was apparently waiting for the funds to clear in PayPal .... and has just sent it.

Sweet!! Nice that it all worked out. Hate non-responsive sellers, they should know the trauma induced by the wait is just aweful

I still haven't received it.... asked the eBay seller 3 times for the tracking number and no reply....

Tonight I'll have to involve eBay and ask a refund.

My son and I will have to make do with the little blackstar HT1.

After reporting it to eBay, the seller has finally got back in touch with me, saying he had issues with the delivery (like never sending it???

) And would refund me instead.

Still waiting for the refund too......

Finally got a refund - had to involve eBay though.

Some sellers really suck.
Why list an amp with a minimum price you wouldn't be happy to sell for? I assume that's why he didn't send it to me.
And then not even refunding me.......
