Re: OR50 Tubes Replacement
I recommend replacing the power valves only. Pream valves normally last several times longer than they do. ! only ever relace them single and only when needed! Not what you meant maybe, but what you got from me anyway.
What sort of power valves? Depends. What did you already have in the amp? Did you like them? Would you like to take the sounds / tonality any particular direction? Brighter, darker, more or less clean headroom?
Remember to have a tech re-bias the amp for the new power valves!
Andy.

Re: OR50 Tubes Replacement
Hi a.hun,
Thanks for your reply!
I have the stock tubes installed right now...
I don't know which valves orange uses on the or50 Stock head but I really Love the sound!
I was also looking for the svetlana winged c for the power valves
The preamp and the power tubes are 5 years old..
I really love a 70s brighter sound like Jimmy Page and I use it in overdrive, I hardly ever use the head set for a clean sound
Thanks!

Re: OR50 Tubes Replacement
My ad50 had ruby tubes in and I guess yours would too. It said Orange on the tubes but when I ordered Ruby Tubes they looked exactly the same
Les Paul, Orange AD50 CS, ppc 212 ob with 3ow green back heritage (g12h 30) and a greenback (g12m), Boss tuner, Cry Baby, Electro Harmonix Electric Mistress, T-Rex replica and the orange sustain pedal

Re: OR50 Tubes Replacement
Ruby's valves are simply rebranded valves, just like the Orange. If they look exactly the same outside / inside, they probably are the same, just they aren't ruby per say.
