TH100 + American Standard Tele = Appetite for Destruction?

Post by MettleGossett » Mon Dec 05, 2016 8:28 pm

Hey guys,

I recently picked up a TH100 and I love it. I've been playing my American Standard Telecaster through it and the it sounds insane. Anytime I play rhythm parts from anything on Appetite I swear this combo just nails it. Is this ridiculous? I was kind of thinking that the darker voiced Orange mixed with the bright as hell Tele just ends up hitting that sweet spot. Anyone else thinks this makes sense? The reason I ask is because maybe my ear isn't tonally developed yet and I'm imagining something that's not there. Thanks!

Nope there's nothing wrong with your hearing. Telecasters and Oranges mix very well, there are more and more fans of this combination showing up on the forum these days. It's like you said, that brightness combined with the mid darkness hits a sweet spot. I also prefer the lower output of my tele with an orange
