Orange sale in Sweden

There's a big Orange sale at 4sound (swedish retailer of Orange amps). The prices are crazy! I wonder why.

No joke indeed. I just ordered a Dual Dark 100. 40% off. Can't believe this. And you're probably right about the shipping cost though it's well worth checking...

It's mad how they've dumped the prices and it leaves me wondering if they're getting rid of their stock to either make way for new gear or just fed up with the new Orange suppliers in Scandinavia and dumping the brand totally.

Yeah, it's strange. If it only were old models I'd understand it but they're selling current models/accessories for up to 60% off. No profit what so ever.

Yesterday they had a lot more, even the RV MKllls and the Shiny Terror half stack at crazy prices, none of them in stock but with the "remind me" button activated (click the button and you'll get a mail when the amp's in stock). There is something weird going on in this country...

Looks like the OB Series, and the OR100 are not on sale. I'm thinking they are just over stocked and need to move out old inventory. Plus if you think they are not making money at 50% off I think you are mistaken. I'm pretty sure Orange amps are marked up substantially.

They were yesterday, even 'your' orange OR50. Maybe you're right about the 'not making money' thing. But why sell stuff in current production that cheap? Are they forced by Orange to order a certain amount of gear every year so that is why they have to get rid of this year's stuff?

Anyhow such a price dump isn't good for the brand and certainly not for the used market sellers...

humbucker music in georgia did this when they were getting out of carrying orange. i would assume they are doing it too. but who's to say.

This may be an insanely stupid question, but do they ship to the US...? and if so, will the charge be so high that it's not even worth it?

Same in 4sound Norway, might be luthman(importer) trying to empty their stash. Maybe to make room for something new?

What a bummer! Right now they only ship to Sweden.
An AD30 or OR50 (sadly only black available) would have been really nice, and of course with a PPC212OB (at the cost of a PPC112).
I spent some thime this weekend trying to find out- first if I really should buy one.
And second, wich one of them.
The good thing is as soon I noticed that they don't ship to Spain all my first world problems dissapeared.

Oh well, guess that means that I'll keep saving for a CS50....
