Hey All, what are your thoughts on Flying Colors, the supergroup featuring Steve Morse? https://www.facebook.com/flyingcolorsofficial" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Curious for a couple of reason...

I'm a big fan. I love Steve Morses playing and Casey Macpherson has a great voice. Incredible musicians, great songs, their last album 'second nature' has been a regular fixture on my stereo this year.

Is this a social visit Alex or do you guys work Easter Monday?

I've heard of Steve Morse. Highly proficient axeman but never totally struck on him myself..

If you like your rock music on the proggy side they're well worth a listen. Mike Portnoy on drums, Neil Morse on keys and vox and Dave Larue on bass, an impressive line up. Not for everyone of course but I really like them. Even though it is spelled wrong :twisted:

Regardless of how it should be spelt, I gave it a listen.

Well, I won't do it again. I'm quite happy to let them entertain other people.

I thought I've heard of them until I realized I was thinking of Living Colour... :lol: I guess there's a difference.

This has me thinking... always dangerous I know. Was it spelt Living Colour over in America?

What I find more annoying though is how someone came up with a new pronounciation for 'route' when Internet routers were born. Or at least that was the first time I heard it used over here.

Get your kicks on rowt 66 :D
Paul.

Living Colour was awesome. I gave Flying Colors a listen and it didn't fill my teacup. Some of their stuff reminded me of the Foo Fighters a little, but not as catchy I guess. The vocals to me are kind of bland and unenergetic.

Yes, it is Living Colour, with a U. Saw them in 1993, amazing show. Morse is a terrific player, but I tend to avoid "supergroups."
