Thats nuts, but it does look nicely done.

UV fluorescent orange strings though? Now that really is kitsch.

Surprising myself here but I like it!

Ugh, too much Orange! I could have been done more subtle, such as alluding to the Orange logo/faceplate/basketweave rather than just putting the exact faceplate and all onto the guitar. Playing it with an Orange amp would make the guitarist appear to be insane, IMHO!

But to each their own, hope the guy/gal can sell it! I know it's not for me.

The guitar is some kind of Schecter...must be worth about $500 or so for the original guitar.

i disagree. i think that is MUCH more inline with the mod/retro orange styling originally characterized by cliff and his orange empire. i would gladly rock that bass.

"Rachel" never surfaced - apparently the guy who bought it loves it - I had checked with the music store that got it and they checked with the owner to make sure he still wanted it, etc. etc. etc. That was quite a while ago though. Just saw "Daisy" on ebay...

It's hard to come up with a new bass design that's original without being ridiculous. I think it's a good effort. It could use a bit less "Bassanus" though.
