Hey I know this forums for orange amps, but the amp would be redundant without the might axe! I was just wondering what guitars ppl use to make their Orange sing! And who wins in a fight? Humbuckers or Single Coils???
I personally am using a 335 copy (saving up to buy my Gibson one day!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>) and a fender Telecaster but I hate that single coil buzz thing!
Anyway enough bout me, what about you????
Humbuckers or Single Coils???

Either one works great...depends on what you want.
I have a Les Paul with P-90s that sounds extra sweet...nice single coil clarity, with a nasty growl and nice singing highs. Crunches nice, and cleans up nice with volume rollback...but always that clarity. Never gets too dense...
On the other hand, I plug in the Custom with the HBs...only one word for that: "roar". Unreal. It's hard not to want to sound like that all the time...

I have 2 fender strats with texas specials and a 1974 fender mustang all with single coils. There is nothing cleaner and better sounding than a single coil pickup with the output of the amp cranked to ten. The single coil buzz is annoying sometimes but if you have a quality guitar than the buzz shouldn't be that bad unless you are going through cheap distotion pedals which would kind of defeat the purpose of having a great sounding amp. The mustang is crunchier and sounds great for certain songs. I haven't tried a humbucker through my AD1512 or AD30R but I would guess that they would sound heavier and crunchier. I would like to try a 70's era gibson les paul through my amp. I think that it would be thick and crunchy. I'll let you know.
