Andrew Bird - I couldn't help but share this musician

Post by Thinline_slim » Thu Sep 20, 2012 10:07 pm

I learned about this guy today and have been completely floored by him and his music. It's a little different but absolutely beautiful.

I hope you enjoy.

I actually work for his publisher! He's really fantastic, I'm kicking myself right now that I've remembered I haven't listened to his new record yet! Gotta get on that tomorrow...

Very cool. Let me know what you think of his new one. I've picked up 2 albums today off iTunes.

If you work for the publisher you might have an inside track to this question. Where can I buy the (above) performances "Live from the Basement". His albums are great for sure but those performances are incredible. If it's awkward to ask such a question then no worries either.

And that's what's great about music right! You took the time to check it out, as different as it was. Very cool man.

We don't really deal with the sale of the music persay, for requests like that we always direct people to retailers. I googled it and it looks like a live recording for a tv channel. Do you know if the music was ever released on CD? There's a good chance it wasn't. Sorry!

I can't find any indication that it was released on any medium other than the actual TV program and pod casts. And I know very little about pod casts.

Thanks anyway.

Some people are very talented at layering tracks on the spot, pretty neat!
