Tiny Terror is not so Orange !

Post by rocker30man » Wed Apr 25, 2012 8:40 pm

Looking for a Tiny Terror head and found this one on eBay ;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Orange-Tiny-T ... 256fbe6710

The Orange stripe on the front seems yellow ? Its not the camera flash cause the orange is ok on the bag ? I emailed the seller and he said he is colour blind and never noticed ? Unless "RAT" amps put a new front on it ? They changed the wording on the 7 watt/ 15 watt if so it has faded more than an original ? strange ?

I've seen pictures of Oranges like that. It's probably just the lighting.

The wording on the 7/15 watt switch has been changed as the amp has had power scaling fitted.
I recently had it fitted to one of my amps and have been strongly considering having my TT done as well.

There is no way lighting could have affected the color like that. The orange in the voice of the world seal is still orange. It's more likely that RAT repainted that part as some sort of signature for their mod, much in the same way Keeley will replace the red LED indicator in a Boss pedal with a blue light after they mod it.

everything looks the same on the pics/text layout, i just don't get the yellow part, there's no way he could get the wood (in the photo) in it's natural color and an orange modified like that (which means it would take off all the red on this picture). and IMO there's no way the orange silk print could get that dodged color, unless the owner left the amp for a month exposed to the sun everyday in a hot country (like brazil). the original ON/OFF 15/STDBY/7 is also modified, so yes, he maybe got a new screen to print this head.
