The knobs were super stark white, and didn't look good with the off-white pickguard. They ended up a little darker than I'd like but theyre actually quite close to the pickguard color in real life. I'll probably try cleaning/recoloring them eventually but it's close enough for my tastes.

Also, I was jealous of the other thread so I had to post mine :D

How was fitting the Fender neck up to the MJT body? Any issues?

No issues, the neck pocket/neck lined up perfectly and the fit is snug, but not too snug.

I tried putting it together immediately after the body arrived and it seemed like it wasnt going to work, but after letting the body condition in the same environment as the neck for 1-2 days and trying again it was perfect.

Cool looking tele, what's the specs on the Novak bridge pickup? Was it wound specifically for a 500k pot? I've got a set of Don Mare Hot Bakelite's; bridge is a 6.7k A2 and was a little conjested in the mids, not much. I swapped the 250k for a 500k and really liked it initially but all-in-all it was too bright/thin so I ended up going with a 300k and it's perfect.

I don't know what it was supposed to be wound for, but I used 250/500k combo to help the neck pickup stay bright enough. The bridge looks identical to a single coil to the eye, but if the coil was exposed you'd see it's wound in split coil fashion, each around 3 magnets. Running 500/250k for vol/tone is the same as running 2 375k pots with both at 10. Its not overly bright in this config IMO.

Sweet looking guitar man. It all looks killer except for the knobs, IMHO. I just really like the look of chrome knobs on a Tele. Enjoy!

It's gorgeous - though I'd have traditional knobs on it. Your guitar though.
