Re: Music apps
I recently got the iRig interface and amplitube app. Really helps for silent practices so I don't disturb anyone. The iRig interface was only $25. Kind of crazy to plug a LP into an iPhone. I mean it's definitely not the BEST sounding thing in the world, but I have to say it's pretty effective for what it is - a headphone amp. The amplitube iPhone app in itself kind of sucks, but I found another one caled JamUp that works with the iRig and it's pretty damn good.
I just got the AniMoog today matter of fact. It's really cool and is on sale right now for .99 cents vs. $9.99.

Re: Music apps
I have the Peavey Amp kit link & soft ware, works fairly well & sound isn't bad for what it is & silent practice.
Also use; Guitar pro & songster+ for tabs- both pretty good.
Poly tune tuner, same alog as the stomp box- excellent

Thereminator app - kind of just fun to play around with and make weird spacey theremin sounds.

I may have to look into that AniMoog thing, and iRig too! Thanks.

Re: Music apps
Buy Animoog! Very, VERY cool. One of those music apps that you could sink countless hours into and feel great about it.

Re: Music apps
For those with the AmpKit or iRig interface I'm almost positive you can run both softwares with it. I have the full Aplitube app plus the free Fender and Free Ampkit apps.
I just picked up a SynthStation 25 for $64 (and there are a few cheaper places to go) which is a 25 key keyboard that takes the iPhone/iPod as the software. It's also a midi controller if you get tired of the i-stuff. I thought for a total of $65 and two apps that should keep me entertained for a while.

Re: Music apps
I think you can use the Ampkit with amplitube, but the iRig with the AmpKit software sounded terrible when I tried it the other day. Maybe I didn't mess with it enough though. I'm curious to see if anyone has amplified the animoog app though. That thing is awesome. We have an iPad here as well and I could really do some interesting stuff with that app.Thinline_slim wrote:For those with the AmpKit or iRig interface I'm almost positive you can run both softwares with it. Damn, tried to get on that AniMoog thing - but you need at least an iPhone 4G. I only have the piddly 3GS as of now.
