yea. i REALLY wish i had need for a 50W amp. there's a RVMk1 at the L&M by my house that's been there practically forever. everytime i go in, i play it, love it, and then go home to my TT, which i also love.

It's true. Best amp ever. I can't get a bad tone out of it, even trying things like turning down all the bass and treble. It still sounds awesome. Why on earth did they make the mark II? Just because of a presence knob and el34? To get the tubes away from the magnets? That gives it what the French call a certain.....I don't know what. Whatever, I'm glad to be able to boast about owning on of the originals, which will certainly be reissued one day for big bucks. 6V6 creaminess!

That clean channel is really amazing, and I love the tones of the dirty channel, from almost clean to cataclysmic gain, it's all golden.
And I really don't know why they changed that reverb - it's crazy, yeah, but it's fantastic crazy!!!!!


I will admit to not having used the effects loop yet - I've had it 2 years now and I'm very much plug and play type person.

I'm guessing that the amp was too dark for this guy, considering the knob positions. Ohh, and Clean volume on 3 oclock and dirty Volume on 730 with gain maxed??? My guess is a bedroom player who never used the clean channel.

I agree to all the above! I searched for over ten years and countless amps and when I plugged into the Rockerverb 50 MK1 I knew that was the one I had been looking for. I haven't tried the MK2 yet so I can't comment, I also have a Retro 50 but that is a different animal.

i'm interested in hearing more! currently on the market for an orange head. i'm testing out the dual terror right now which is great but i have a feeling i'll be returning it to L&M to get a rockerverb instead.
