Re: OT: Ice Cream
On a side note, what the heck does OT mean?
I've been on this forum for months and I still have no idea what it means.

Or "Output Transformer", depends on context.
Re: OT: Ice Cream
Ask and ye shall receive.Links to Dairy websites?!? This thread is udder madness !
I want to know why it's so hard to find straight-up peanut butter ice cream in stores (in my area at least). It should be one of the standard handful of flavors that every company makes.

I like anything Turkey Hill. Except the Yankees "signature" flavors. Fuch the Yankees.

Re: OT: Ice Cream
OT (but still slightly relevant to your post): I hate when I see people with Yankees hats on outside of NYC or LI area. Especially if I see one here in Denver. I just want to politely remove the d-bags hat and toss it in a busy intersection. If I lived on the island or on the outskirts... I'd be a Mets fan.nguideau wrote:Fuch the Yankees.
Back to Ice-cream. I can't wait until my vacation to Austin in a couple weeks. Going to get myself some Amy's ice cream.

I don't know, being a Mets fan is still a pretty awful existence.Ddjembe Mutombo wrote:OT (but still slightly relevant to your post): I hate when I see people with Yankees hats on outside of NYC or LI area. Fortunately I am a NYC-area transplant, so I can continue being a Tigers fan and never fall into the douchebaggery of NYC sports fandom.

Re: OT: Ice Cream
Last time in Boston found a newer place on Salem, I think it was between Prince and Parmenter that was really good, too. Real fruit, real hazelnuts, real bananas pretty awesome.
The standards are the place in Rome about three blocks north of the Parthenon, and the organic gelato place about a block from the Duomo in Florence. The stuff in Boston is really close. Found a place in Berkeley that was also really close. All of these places are way too far away.

Cubs fans are everywhere in the US. I'm unable to escape them anywhere I go. They come here and act like morons on Clark every summer and start fights and barf on the sidewalks. Buttholes. Must suck to like a team that has zero hope of ever winning a World Series again. Cursed!

Re: OT: Ice Cream
Surprised I only saw Turkey Hill once on this thread. I like their goods.
Although nothing tops the Penn State Creamery!!! A building dedicated just to making the best and freshest ice cream you've ever had, from the milk of local dairy farms. Excellent! A favorite flavor to eat and to say is Peachy Paterno.
Also, I don't generally eat ice cream, I'm kind of a health nut, but if I do it's always at a local dispensary. Nothing beats the local Hillside Farms (aside from PSU Creamery of course) for fresh churned ice cream.
Slightly OT: It seems as though a battle of epic proportions is panning out on the boards lately. Caused by climate change? Natural disasters? Hemmorhoid flare-ups? The reason is unknown but only time will tell who makes it out on top! Join us next time for the exciting installment of forumstar galactica!
