UPDATE 1: Put in an order for some cheap patch cables...
http://www.5150musicsupply.com/6_each_P ... /6p5x5.htm
I'll let you guys know, I'm happy with the concept of getting 12 x 6" patch cables for $29.95 shipped.
Update 1: I've not had a chance to set up my pedal board with them, but a quick inspection revealed that they're quite well made. The plugs seems to be quality, the cable has both a copper shield and a conductive carbon shield to reduce microphonics and improve shielding further.
Assuming these things have good performance, I'm very impressed with their construction and quality, ESPECIALLY for $15 for 6 of them! I can even buy cheap connectors for that little, let alone assembled cable and jacks!

Cool. Definitely report back. I've decided to take on building up my recording studio again. I have so much gear I think I'm going to patchbay all my ins and outs, so it would be nice to get a lot of good quality patch chords for cheap.

Im in the market too....puttin together a new board after getting rid of the M13. The price of patches disgusts me.....

Exactly! Drives me crazy to see these $20 6" cables. Forget it! These were cheap enough that if they are quality, they're actually cheaper than me trying to make the cables myself!savage8190 wrote:The price of patches disgusts me.....

I went to my local shop yesterday to see what they had. The cheapest they had were 10 bucks each! Man thats a joke...they had a few that were about 30 bucks each too; craziness.
I just ordered some planet waves classic series ones. I used to use the custom ones before I had this stupid M13 and I really liked them; hopefully these ones are good. 23 bucks for the 6 I needed, and another 12 for a couple 1 footers.....I can swallow that.

Very easy. Click on edit in the very first post and just change the subject title...Deacon Blues wrote:Hey Neil, sort of OT, but how do you update the title of a thread that you've started? i tried to do this a while back but my interwebz skillz are lacking
