Re: New Forum Moderator!
Rumors was a great record the first couple times I heard it, but it was so overplayed it drove me nuts.

I'm only 30 so I didn't have to hear it a million times like you! Sucks when the media can ruin stuff by beating it to death for that last dollar.Borderline Productions wrote:Rumors was a great record the first couple times I heard it, but it was so overplayed it drove me nuts.

Re: New Forum Moderator!
Thanks, "Sooner", for the warm welcome!
My contribution to this Fleetwood Mac thread is to say that IMO the feel of Peter Green's awesomely
original opening blues-rock riff in 'Oh Well' has resurfaced - with just a few minor creative modifications -
several times throughout Mac's 43-year musical journey. So, his influence has never really left the band.
As Billy has pointed out in this thread, I've visited the Forum regularly for quite a while now to keep
track of opinions about all matters Orange. I also write the news features for the Orange
website and update the artists/endorsees section.
Orange CEO, Cliff Cooper, and I have been working closely on the Orange book which is
now in the final stages of editing. Researching and compiling this detailed illustrated history
of Orange Amplification has been a dream of a project for me.
As UK Forum Moderator, I look forward to assisting Billy on his anti-spam mission, and being useful
to Forum members on all matters Orange wherever I can.

My mum used to be good friends with Mick Fleetwood back in the day, as well as a certain Mr Cliff Cooper

Yeah I noticed that after I posted it. I usually go back and fix it but I didn't. Sue me.Sooner wrote:Rumours...

Oh really? Jeez thanks for the news flash Billy. My point was, that making a connection to Peter Green through Stevie Nicks is kinda weak, considering that Fleetwood Mac with the two girls is lame crap, whereas Peter Green was awesome.bclaire wrote:Lots. Your opinion. Record sales say otherwise. I like things about both and dislike things about both. The point is, they both were in the same band whether you like it or not.Wendigo wrote:Oh really? You might recognise him from this title as Peter Green's authorised biographer!
