All right everyone, there's a bunch of newbies around here..

....and I don't know all the essentials. I like to know 'em. I'm very happy the Orange community is growing! I love my RV50 and always will. In any event, and because our tastes change form time to time, I'd like to start this thread where you all will post the essentials:

1. Your favorite amp (or 2, but NO MORE)

2. Your favorite guitar (or 2, but NO MORE)

and, last, and most importantly:

3. Your favorite Beer.

NOW, because I'm finicky and a pic whore, I expect everyone to post pics for all of the above. It makes it a lot easier for me to just download pics of your favorite brew and bring them into the liquor store when I go shopping to drink what you all like. After trying a couple, I can never remember the names - but the pics are very helpful to the store staff.

Oh yeah - if you want to tell a blurb about yourself - have at it. And CERTAINLY post a link to your band's Youtube channel or other link to your music vids/MP3s if you've got one. I'll start:

both my Gibson SG and LP are great... one sounds better, one plays better.

1. A nice Les Paul. My Epiphone with upgraded caps fits the bill for now. My dream Les Paul would probably be a high end Tokai or Gibson Joe Bonamassa Goldtop model. I also dig my Classic Vibe Tele a lot.

2. Currently - my Tweed Deluxe 5E3 that some of you probably saw the build thread for. I really want a RV50 though. I also want to build a Silver Jubilee and Dumble clone eventually.

3. I'm only 18, so no beer here, but I'll definitely take recommendations for when I turn 21!

Hi there...Im Paul and I live in Sydney.
I play guitar with a showband called "The Zips".
Fave amp is my dual terror and I match that with the cab and single 12 that is meant to with the Nighttrain.
Guitars are Gibson faded cherry Flying V and an Epi Explorer.
Fave beer is Crown lager.

hey guys, i'm certainly new here. I'm much more active over at HC but that place is a disaster as of late so I started lurking around here. I play in a band http://www.myspace.com/modgun, feel free to check it out if you want (although those tracks are a bit dated)

My favorite amp would be my RV100 and my newly acquired Avatar 412

I've also got a SF Bassman 50 w/ matching 2x15" thats pretty sweet. I've always been a fan (and player) of Fender amps.

As far as guitars go, my #1 is an '86 MIJ Standard Strat

I have a stupid amount of strats besides that one so picking an absolute 2nd fav is tricky, but I've been getting a lot of miles out of a partscaster I threw together from a HW1 body/ electronics and an old MIJ Rosewood neck. Unfortunately I don't have pics of that one...

And I'm always down for a cold Sam
