If I have the bass and mid pots turned fully to the right, then I turn the treble, there is no responce at all, if I turn the mid to the left and then turn the treble I get a very slight effect.Could this be a faulty treble pot?
Thanks in advance
Paul

Re: Rocker 30 treble pot does not work
I don't have any experience with the Rocker 30, myself, but if you can set the bass and mids to zero and the treble pot seems to be making changes, then I would say it is probably fine. Eq's can have a lot of variance to the change when certain frequencies are boosted to the max. I expect you could always have someone check it out if you want to be certain.

thenetsux thanks for your reply.
I took it down to my teck today to test the pots and he said they were fine,he seems to think it might be a faulty tube.

problem solved, one of the 12ax7's was faulty
Re: Rocker 30 treble pot does not work
Nice of solved it. But generally, all the EQ controls work together which means that the treble control for instance will do different things depending on how you've set the bass and mid control. I think the less bass you crank the more the treble control will do.

hi David
thats right but for some reason I wasnt getting any responce from the treble even when the bass was turned back it was very small, I taped on the valves and one of the 12ax7's was very loud, when I replaced it then I got a lot more responce from the treble,I dont know why I just did.
