Re: Cool link to ORANGE DRUMS!
Where did all this cool vintage orange stuff end up? I remember seeing a mixing console pop up not too long ago, but you never see the drums, pa equipment, etc pop up. Who's got all this stuff nowadays?

Well we all know who's got the AMPS, I'm talking the other stuff. And what about that orange atv that was parked out front of orange back in the day?

orange made drums?
Re: Cool link to ORANGE DRUMS!
any idea how these sounded? was this just orange trying to expand their line back in the day, or were they actually making some great gear?

Every once in a blue moon, things show up on ebay. I saw some beautiful drums on ebay once. They were made in France apparently, so really doubtful that a single set made it to the USA...

Re: Cool link to ORANGE DRUMS!
I remember a time in the late 70s and early 80s when anything with the name Orange on it or Sunn on it was considered junk and really worthless - wish I had the hindsight to pick up stuff back then in the pawn shops (I was in high school so I had no cash to do so anyway). I think a lot of the lesser known products in the line were just trashed as they had no value. PAs, Mixers, and probably these drums fall into that category. I mean it was the era of Marshall and yes in the live sound world, Peavey around that time. Cool drums, I'd love to find a set!
