So I'm officially on vacation for two weeks... school is out! and I saw that airfare roundtrip to London from Wed next week to Monday the 23rd was only $501 on Virgin Atlantic! So I pulled the trigger on it- nebulous plans right now- a friend is between jobs right now so looks like I may be heading to his new house in Sheffield! The only plan for certain is I bought tix to Paul Weller at the O2 on the 21st with The Coral opening.

Any UK forum members with gigs?

Actually, I got them from Virgin's website... but through www.kayak.com

It searches multiple websites for the best pricing...

no gigs (just had to cancel some d'oh!)

I'm in portsmouth (south coast) about 2hrs from london or 1 hr from brighton - if you are in those areas might be possible to hook up for a pint!

If you'd come last week, you could have seen us twice, but no gigs next weekend. Let me know if you'll be in the Oxford area.

Down south here, spring's arriving and temps will be up in the 60s midweek.

Hey! I work at The O2 arena, i won't be around that day as we are on tour, but do you know what seats you have for the show?

I would advise to eat before you come to the venue -it gets completely rammed before the shows and the restaurants cannot cope with the queues at all. I would eat over in Canary Wharf (just 1 stop on the tube away)theres loads of good food places there, or just hang out in central london and come to The O2 just in time for the gig.

heres the show times by the way!

• DOORS: 18:00
• Support Act: The Coral 19:30 – 20:15
• Interval: 20:15 – 20:45
• Paul Weller 20:45 – 22:45 (TBC)

Wish we had a gig in that time, but we've not got anything for a couple of weeks in the UK and then we're off on a tour of France! Would be great to meet you some day!

Cool! thanks for the itinerary! If staying in Sheffield falls through, my plan is a hotel in Canary Wharf actually!
