RV50 in my stable

After selling my RV100 head I finally decided on a new RV50 head - it definitely has better cleans than RV100. I plugged a tele into it and it just reminded me how much I've missed the Orange tone!!!

My '51 Nocaster reissue will especially be happy when I bring it home tonight!

BTW, I really love the way the Orange 4x12 sounds - I wonder if 2x12 sounds as good.

The 2x12s do sound good - but there is a very noticeable difference in sound disperse-ment between the open back and closed back, FYI.

I prefer closed backs generally - more directional.
