Listening to Van Cleef as we speak. I really like that live improvisation sound you've got going on. You should really hang on to that!
I like the idea of the recording style too, but I'd like to mik up the drums a little better, they are a bit too ambient as it is.

Hehe, we haven't thought about that, but Victor who made this video wanted to make a video for Forever in time at first, but that song wasn't recorded by then.

Too bad I don't know how to work Adobe Premiere or I would make videos myself. One thing I've learnt in 28 years is that things gets done when you do them yourself.
That's why I record our music. I don't like it, I have no interest in doing it, but it gets done.. :)

Great song, great sound. The vocals sound terrific. As far the guitar sound, I guess the answer was Matamp. How did you get the sustain on that one note?

Thanks.
Amps are Orange Matamp, Marshall 2061X and Fender Deluxe Reverb. :D

I don't really remember which amp I used for the solo, I think it was the 1224. I achieved the sustain with my Keeley compressor. :)

Thank you Corky and Ole! :)

Hey Orphin... yeah those demos are recorded live... the only overdub is a tiny bit of extra synth and vocs...

very quick, down and dirty recordings just because we needed to get something out there - the drums weren't mic'd properly etc

we're going into the studio to start recording our debut album on 13 Dec which is extremely exciting... AND we're doing a clip! (note to self: make sure the clip features my R30, Coopers Pale Ale and fine aussie lasses)
