Billy -- a big thanks from all of us folks who live in areas where only 56k is available!

Seriously though -- the irony of the situation is that my dad is a longetime operations manager for Bellsouth's high speed DSL division dammit!

Not enough talk about bass stuff lately.... I can try and give my opinion about guitar stuff,,,,, but I usualy fail miserably lol. I see I have been gone a while... you past me big time in posts :) LOL! I just wish there was an off topic forum here like we ALWAYS ask for... it would make it so much easier to make conversation about anything. So I see your B day is coming up Matt? Have you sound proofed your room? Maybe you could look into that! I have been thinking about it for my room... but does anyone know if it even works with bass frequences? Anyways... I should be on here more now...

In order to stop bass frequencies you need mass to dampen vibration. Go to www.decware.com if you're familiar with woodworking cause they have plans for building your own bass traps and room treatments along with a lot of other cool stuff (like how to build a sub box for your car or house and how to build a Jensen Imperial PA horn from the 50s).
