"Or else what?"
"I'll call you names!"

I can't get over how some people think something they wrote was "a joke" but when you see it in print, out of context, it just doesn't look like a joke.

That and I've had two people email me ticked off because I "emailed them at home" when it's the email address they used to sign up for the forum. Sheesh...
<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">

I know what you mean. But what I will say is that tone of voice and sarcasm do not translate well via the printed word. So, to me, part of being positive is remembering that, and giving people the benefit of the doubt and just shrugging them off if something they said seems to be inflammatory.

Obviously, it is best if everyone just errs on the side of caution and doesn't make sarcastic jokes, but you know someone will, so we all just have to keep cool and remember that more often than not nobody is trying to piss anybody off. :)

screamingdaisy said it best... don't let a disagreement with someone move from one thread to another. It's almost never personal. The key is to be respectful when disagreeing, IMO.

They claim its just a joke but they're really testing the waters with what they can get away with without being banned. I've moderated before & its no picnic. It takes quite a bit to punch through my skin but enough is enough. People fightin' & cryin' about this & that. FFS Show some civility people! heh

Good to see you put the foot down Billy, your job is an unthankful one.. but thanks :)

Man, I really do miss ALL of the good stuff... ;-). Billy deletes the whole thing before I can find out what has transpired. Oh well; good job man! I can always catch up with that sort of trash on Jerry Springer if I feel the need. :-).
