This thread got me to thinking that I needed current pictures of my guitars- that and I lent one of my Esquires to my 11 year old nephew and I wanted to make sure I had a "before" picture just in case...
anyway, here's a link t the gallery:

Yeah, go figure. The Joe Strummer really is the one I play 90% of the time now! It is such a fabulous guitar!

Funnily enough, I do play most of them... except for that '57 Musicmaster with the wacky paint job- apparently, it used to belong to someone in the Angry Samoans but I haven't been able to verify that. I bought it thinking that I could tune it higher since the scale length is the same as a regular Fender capo'd at the second fret. That didn't work out...

For the most part, the reason I have so many duplicates is that I wanted an on-stage backup for string breakage reasons when I was playing with John A. We had an original band and would do a 70 minute set- and in it, I was playing songs tuned to standard, open G, open E, and Nashville tunings so that's 7 guitars right there (didn't bother with a Nashville backup).

My '81 Les Paul Standard. I've yet to find another guitar or Les Paul for that matter that moves me like my black '81. peace

Thanks for the input , I haven't had time to tabulate the vote but it's almost easier to call it a 3 way tie! :)

My main guitar and the one I can always go to is my 99 US Lone Star Strat. Very aggressive and with a high output. Love it...
