hey all, just need some opinions/ ideas here. Me and a few buds have got a band thing on the go and were playing a short set at his upcoming party. So far weve got

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet home alabama
RHCP - Can't stop
RHCP- fortune faded
Foo Fighters- learn to fly
Clapton - cocaine
April Whine - Could have been a lady
Buck cherry - Crazy B**ch
The clash - should i stay or should i go
Sam roberts- Dont walk away eileen
3 doors down- kryptonite

and possibly adding some more sam roberts, and Tragically hip...

this may give you an idea of the music were into, im taking any suggestions that you guys can come up with. Mainly songs that people like, and arent to difficult!

Thanks!

haha yea, we've been told that but its just a bunch of our buddies there and none of em are really into playing an instrument, plus there is going to be lots of alcohol, so we figured leave it for now... great sing along song. but yes i do see where your coming from

What I've learned in my musical journey: The dumber / easier / cheesier it is... the more the drunks love it. It's sad, but true.

The Cars..."Just what I needed".....would go great betwen Clapton and the Clash. Don't play the solo if it's too difficult for you...go straight in to "my Best friends Girl"....both in E..

Just been playing all of them now! :D

There are a multitude of songs you can play if these people remember the 80's. Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt, Twisted Sister...
