I think the 2.7biturbo is a bit more high maintenance than a straight six on the BMW?
PS. I happen to know a guy who has over 400.000km on his 2.7biturbo Allroad. And he is still using it as a daily driver. The allroad is chiptuned from 50.000km=>

It is...but the M3 makes up for it with the needy suspension/steering and cooling systems. Things like bushings are considered wear items, and cause catastrophic (and downright dangerous) failures when neglected. Most OEM water pumps have plastic impellers and die early deaths.

Except for the 1995 S50US motor (which had issues with valve retainers), the engine and tranny are bulletproof. But we have suspension, steering, and cooling system stuff that's pretty needy.

Oh, and the M3 is completely useless in bad weather. Unlike your friends Allroad. ;)

Mijn naam is Andy. Ik werk als ziekenverzorgende...

That probably translates closest to health carer, and is very much but not exactly like a trained nurse. Which funnily enough I am too.

I've done all sorts of hospital and other care work over the years, often in ICU (intensive care) and other high dependancy areas. I am now working with physically handicapped people in a recently built residential complex.

I used to own a Volkswagen. ;)

Andy.
