Hmmm, that's a toughie. Accords are somewhat small if I remeber correctly, and Orange 412 are rather large (for 412's). That being said I'd try measuring your trunk and asking someone if they know the specs for a the cab you're getting. The only way to really know is to try. After all, just because it might be possible to fit it in your trunk doesn't mean you'll want to, those things are 100+ pounds, you might destroy it (or you might be He-Man). On the upside I've seen someone put an ampeg 810 bass cab in a trunk before, so you never really know.

i drive a small 2 door Toyota Paseo. i just take out the passenger seat and place the cab right inside the door, very easy to work with.
also the passenger seat in most cars is only for bolts that in most cases are easy to get at when sliding the seat forward and back. takes me less than 5 minutes to take it out and have the cab in and driving.
you should be able to work it like this with the Honda, just find the socket to fit the four bolts and always keep it on a ratchet in your trunk of glove box.
i can also fit my entire drum set in there, mind you i have a 26 inch bass drum.
doing this give LOTS OF ROOM, and its very easy to move stuff in and out. just dump your pedal board and head on the back seat and the cab slides right in with plenty of room.

if my Mesa 410 wont fit in the trunk of a 95 taurus, then an orange 412 surely couldnt fit in a 97 accord's trunk. unless you're Houdini, of course.

i love the middle captain's seats in my 93 chevy conversion van. you just pull a lever, tilt them forward, and pull them out. but they're absolutely terrible to carry alone.

<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">That's due to the depth of the 4x10. 4x12's are more shallow. Also, the trunk opening in the Taurus is pretty slim for the size of the trunk. Makes it tough to fit larger items in, even though they'd fit in there if you were able to get them through the opening.
To the OP, why don't you get a tape measure and see for sure?
Hondas are pretty damn well engineered. I have an Integra, and I can fit an Ampeg 8x10 in it. I can fit 2 4x12's in it, with room to spare for guitars, heads, and a passenger.

I bought a Jetta Wagon a couple of months ago and now I finally have a car that will fit everything I own in it (my whole Orange stack, a blues deville, three guitars, cable box) and I probably have enough room for another amp.
Its a lot better than the cars I had before that for hauling, a New Beetle and an El Camino.
