Hey Man.
So how is your brand new anp. Is it in as good a shape as you hoped for? Hows the sound.... you got pictures of the thing? Kicking out that Marshall already? BTW You just found the most quiet discussion board ever. No-one posts here ever.Trust me. Go to the REAL vintage Orange Forum at vintageamps.com.

You might know of these pages already but here they are just in case you don´t.

Geert Jacobs Orange Field Guide:
http://www.geocities.com/geertjacobs/orange_page.htm

The Harmony Central reviews of the 70´s Overdrives:
http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/D ... 20-01.html

Some good info there. And don´t get worried about the tech-talk. There are always amp-nerds discussing what year amp is better than the other. But it doesn´t mean that everyone else has to start modding their amps. Most tone-freaks keep comparing 9.9s with 10s, if you know what I mean.

I don't know- there are new posts here every day- I'd say that's pretty active. The other board doesn't seem to have so many...

Anyway- the OR120M is the same head as my OR80M except two more power tubes. Great amp... very versatile- I love mine a lot but I use one of the new AD140TC's only because I want to save my OR80 head for recording and stuff. They made those heads right before they folded the first time- in 1978. IMy OR80 head I bought NOS in the box in 1989- awesome with the original Mullard tubes- what a sound! Stupidly, I got rid of the box- wish I'd kept it but actually it got wrecked now that I think about it.... Billy

Finland is great. Probably the best place in the world. Except for having the longest and darkest winter. But in August its always great. 25 degrees celsius, amazingly beatiful and really nice.
The only bad thing is really that there are hardly any old Oranges here. Been busting my azz with trying to find a cab, I´ll prbably have to get a new one.

So welcome over. Be sure to check our band out when you get here. We´re usually playing somewhere even though there aren´t that many places to play here. And my e-mail is on our website.

Cheers

Hey Jeppe- USA doesn't have much for used Orange stuff either. It's very difficult to find Orange anything used- sure, there are vintage dealers with stuff, but they're halfway across the country usually and shipping will kill you for Orange stuff. Thank goodness there are dealers around for the new Oranges! Billy
