Please help me date my amp

Maybe someone can help you date your Orange Amplifier?

It is a graphic OR80. Serial # 2948.

...is the best current guide to dating the late '60s and early '70s amps, but as you see its not helping with that no.
Was it from the amp chassis or backplate? (The numbers <u>are</u> usually different. ;))

Or might yours possibly be a '90s reissue amp? Here is how to tell...

If no luck dating it then the best plan is to try positing decent pictures of the amp here which might give us enough clues to get reasonably close datewise.

looks like a digit is missing. the 90's reissues were not graphic amps.
