Do you have any photos you could post? This helps the most.

I was wondering the same thing. I saw the amp at Norm's shop in LA and it was very clean. Used a computer cord as a power supply so it can't be too old, right?

it could have been modded. my amp is like that.

1994 Fender Jaguar (Seymour Duncan Humbuckers, Gibson Nashville Bridge)

Not necessarily modded. My OR120M has a 'kettle' / 'euro' / 'computer' connector, (same thing you're referring to I reckon). Date tag of 10th Aug 1978, (it's a late one, anyone got a later 70's example?), and I bought it s/h in Mar 1980. No signs of modding, but it's always possible - not by me though!

mine was definitly modded. the circular whole from when the power cable was fixed is still evident.

No rectangular plug in a round hole here. As I say, no obvious signs of the mains socket having been changed on my '78 120w.
(The fuse holders and power switch I did have to change a few years back - well it has been a hard working beastie.)
