Welcome to the forum!

Ohm switches like that often turn up on eBay from time to time - that said, most people switch to a modern switch without the pull-out pins which can get loose, arc, etc. Not often, but often enough.

The back panels are tricky. They got removed when the amp was running very hot and often got lost. I think I would try to find someone (cabinet maker) to make a reproduction. There are lots of photos out there and you could measure your opening for a precise fit.

Thanks Bill... I appreciate the response. I scored a stock vintage Orange 6x12 cabinet off Craigslist recently, and I hope to restore the OR-120 to stock (or as close as possible) to pair them together.

There are some things/mods that can be done that generally don't affect the value or vintage-ness of an amp if they're done for safety: impedance selector, for example, and grounded power cord.

I'm starting to believe gear Karma is a real thing... I was just checking Craigslist one day recently and there it was... Some kid who didn't have room for it anymore. He had a guy on the way over, I told him I'd pay +300 his asking ($900) if he'd hold it for me. He did, then only wanted +($100) He was happy it was going to a good home ! The very next day an ad for a 73 OR-120 for $1200 (!?!) snagged that one too.
Mega heavy but... IT SOUNDS FREAKIN" HUGE !!!

Great pictures!

What does it say on the back for ohms? Those look like Eminence speakers...

Ohm tag missing. Eminance Speakers dated 74. So cab is 74.
My tube amp guru expert buddy says those are period correct for Orange, and most likely factory installed.

Typically, Orange shipped cabs to the USA unloaded and then they were loaded with Eminence here.... my two 4X12's had the same speakers...

I’m betting that cab is 5.3 ohms.

8 or 4. Whichever sounds better. 16 is too high.
