- as per thread in technical, I promised pics of the original as it came.
Arced octal, burned voltage dropper, replaced filter cap and unhappy looking screen resistors, replaced bias resistor, missing transformer bolt/screw, crack in the front panel where it had moved in the sleeve.
See the german studio inlet and the microphone input. Huge Pennine transformers
This has the input trimmer pot too:
As my internet connection to the forum is a bit tenuous I will post pics a few at a time!

Re: Beat Club ORST50 - pictures
I replaced all the incorrect/cooked parts, did a slow cap reform and soak tested.
Plate voltage on EL34s is 520-530v depending on bias, it is extremely quiet and has plenty of 'girth' breaks up around 7-8 on the dial

Thanks for posting these. The pics are gorgeous!
Re: Beat Club ORST50 - pictures
That's one cool piece of history. Do you own it or did you service it for the owner?
Re: Beat Club ORST50 - pictures
I serviced it for the owner on its way from Germany to its new owner in Canada. I have another very slightly later one passing through soon for a check over and tune up, will be interesting to compare.
The thing that strikes me about these is the size of the transformers.
