Orange AD30H Serial Number

Hello Folks,

I just bought an awesome Amp - AD30H Single Channel (that uses Jimmy Page). Please, help me to find out the manufacturing date.

Here is the serial number:

AD30H - 1326 - 03 - 11

I've heard that last 4 letters have to be Month + Year. So, it was made in March, 2011? But, this version of head was discontinued... So. I'm a little bit confused.

There should be an inspection sticker inside with a date.

Hi Serge. You heard right, but that wasn't from the start, only from when Orange got around to putting together a proper ser. no. sequence, probably around 2003 or so. So yours will be that old or slightly older.

The last four digits of the AD series serial numbers tell you the month and year it was made. For example 1564-06-03 was built during June 2003 (O6-03).

Yeah, if you go checking for an inspection tag inside DON'T touch the circuitry under the chassis as there can be stored high voltages present long after use.
