help dating my 4x12

hi guys, i recently got my hands on an old orange cab after months of looking, but i can't find much info on serial numbers or how to date it? the serial number on the back is 1241, can anyone help?

It is often easier to date cabs by opening them up and looking at the speaker date codes within.
Of course if all the speakers have been changed then this is no help.
